A hot spring, a sacred place…

We spent four days moving between rain, mist, ancient hills, and hot springs.
Paid ones, free ones… and adjacent to the ones open to everyone, an archaeological site that turns out to be one of the most important sacred shrine discoveries in Italy in decades!

Soaking in that water felt different.

On our last day, I spoke with the hosts of where we were staying. I mentioned that I run yoga, meditation and retreat experiences.
They said, “You have to see this place.”

An old farmhouse — beautifully restored.
Big communal spaces. Silence. Nature.
And… its own private thermal pool!

A circular hotter pool that feed into a larger one.
I remembered my aqua-yoga training years ago with François Friedman — movement, release, strength and play in water.
