March in one line
A year closing that went better than expected.

Books attempted to read

Once Upon A Prime — this books is about the connection between Literature and Mathematics. This intro itself is so fascinating that I had to buy it. Been reading it very slow, more like one chapter in a week.
Letters to Milena — this is another popular book by Franz Kafka though not like his usual books. This is a collection of letters he wrote to his beloved Milena over the course of time. I’ve this just enough to feel weird about it. Though haven’t read it completely to understand if me feeling weird is justified or not.
When Golu Goes Missing — the debut book of Kanchan Balani is the only book that I’ve completed this year. The illustrations and story in this one are really good. However, my daughter chooses to eat this book and catch Golu more than listening to my narration. Guess I need to improve on storytelling skills.
The Diary of a Cricketer’s Wife: A Very Unusual Memoir — this book by Puja Pujara (wife of Indian cricketer Cheteshwar Pujara) has been the closest I’ve been to experiencing the life of a person similar to my favorite cricketer Rahul Dravid. I know this is too weird a reason to buy this book but I really want to read the biography of Mr. Dravid or a memoir of living with him by someone who has done that and since there isn’t any out there, this is what I will read.

How much coffee did I drink?
A lot. Cold brew, a hot coffee made in french press with cold plain soda, Nescafe and Columbia Brew instant coffee (because at times there is no time to unleash the Barista in you), instant coffee with sad proportions of milk and water.

What else?

Met my co-workers after a long time. Since I have a work-from-home setup, meeting coworkers is less than than you thinking of eating healthy. I hope they still like me.
Had the in person meet-up of Delhi-NCR Substack group after so long! We met at Sunder Nursery and this was the first time I went to this place. I had heard so much about this place that visiting it for the first time after so long felt bad.
Priyanshi Jha wrote an essay that had me as a source of inspiration. Still cannot believe it :’)
John Wick subscribed to my newsletter. Too bad I didn’t add it to my LinkedIn
Few of my most vulnerable posts continue to get attention way more than I anticipated and I am grateful for all the support
