Here’s the 2nd part of my afternoon at the Biennial…
And just for grins… I’m fascinated by the strange pipes you find in the stairwells of public buildings. Who knows if this will appear in the Unlikely Universes exhibition… October in #PortlandMaine. Message me to be put on the email list for it!
And then I realized that I hadn’t included any shots from our hotel window, so here you are…
The juxtaposition of St. Patrick’s with the big modern buildings knocked me out every time I looked outside our window. It was way to close to tourist central, Rockefeller Center, so we would never stay there again, but I got a deal on the room. Next time, we’ll stay out of that part of town, now that I know I can rent a mobility scooter, b/c I just can’t walk more than a block or two without being in pain, and that is no fun if you’re traveling! Next week, MOMA and the Duchamp exhibit, which was mildly disappointing.
