If you’re new here, these wish-lists will pop up regularly because, like most of us, I’m always updating my list of wants and needs. Consider this my little holding space for things I’m currently eyeing — a spot to let these items sit for a bit while I decide whether I actually need them, or whether a bit of window-shopping will do me just fine until I inevitably move on to the next list. Hope you enjoy!
The Layette Pendant by Fomu Designs is just one of those items that I would have absolutely pulled the trigger on had I a spot to put it in my home. Isn’t it just so cool! I love this pendant so very much. It has a matching lamp too!
I am absolutely DEAD over this shelf/everything that Georgina Davies has created for that matter. Whenever I see cool shit like this and then see that it’s by an Australian maker it brings me the urge to boast and cheer! The detail in the actual structure of the shelf is so cool and I just feel like I haven’t seen anything like it before! VERY nice!
I already own a bunch of cushions from L&M home, the quality is BEAUTIFUL and they have a huge variety of styles/textures/colours. I always use L&M cushions on shoots because a) they’re really lovely people to work with and b) their cushions look hot in all types of houses! I’ve got my eye on this guy at the moment.#notsponsored! I just love l&m!
Now I did a post on rugs for my living room recently, however I have come across this one since then and it is very cute and I have been #influenced by a very cool lady named Beci Orpin, who you might have heard of! She has been posting about these rugs recently on her instagram and I am OBSESSED. I actually don’t know where this rug would work in my home but I love it so much that I had to include it with the hope that one of you will love it too and have a spot for it in your home! There’s plenty of cool rugs on that website btw! Have a gander! Maybe this would also look good on a wall?
These wine glasses from &Traditon are somethin’ else! I am actually in despo need for some new wine glasses and I reckon these would be so satisfying to take little sips from, and clang across the table with buddies.
I was lucky enough to meet the EXCEPTIONALLY talented Issey Parker
at a shoot in Byron last year. She is not only a very cool and genuinely lovely person but her talent is BEYOND what I can describe here. She so effortlessly creates the most stunning ceramic pieces that look to me like they should be showcased behind glass in a history museum. One day I WILL own one of her plates. This one makes me feel something. Wow.
I have actually also met the maker of these hand carved salad servers (toot toot) a few years ago when we were back in NZ visiting Simon’s family. Samuel Montgomery is actually an old friend of Simons! You can get a set of these beautiful hand crafted servers from Away Day. A pretty special Christmas pressie don’t you think? Also lots of cool shit on that website!
On the topic of cool hand crafted wooden things, I have had these lovely timber frames saved on my Etsy for a while now. I am just waiting for the right moment/photo to house in them before I add to cart!
Another Etsy find is this wicker tissue box. We are one of those households that always has a floating tissue box hanging around, ruining the vibes with its peach box and aloe vera leaf packaging. I have actually found many cute tissue box covers but for some reason, have not committed to any yet. Maybe now is the time? This one would look great floating around in our kitchen area. I think I’m gonna do it.
Gahh there SO many beautiful quilted blankets to choose from on this website but this is *the one* and my GOD it would look so good in our house.
Gimme gimme gimme!! The colours and the red trimming! Yes.
I first came across this cheeky hanging monkey at one of the BEST house shoots I’ve ever been on – a tiny but beautiful beach house perched up high overlooking the Great Ocean Road…it is truly insane! Owned by none other than the VERY talented Leigh Ellwood! This monkey is so cute, Leigh had him just hangin’ out in her kitchen minding his own business. I’d like to hang him from my shelves in my kitchen too.
Pépite always delivers the goods and this Plonk Side Table is no exception! It looks like it’s just about to trot off to stand in line to wait for a bagel. Love him.
Another Etsy wish list number - these wall sconces are quite cool. Again, I don’t really have a place for them but maybe it could be a good addition to our bathroom? Not sure…but i’ll keep them on the wish list just incase one day I find a home for them.
If you don’t follow GoodSpace on instagram already - then you really should start now. Holly has an incredible eye when it comes to finding vintage furniture and homewares. She manages to score the NICEST pieces, big and small and somehow manages to part with them all - a skill I have never been able to get my head around. I currently have my eye on this jug.
Okay that’s all for now friends! Tune in next month for Edition #3! I already have a working list haha..I have a problem. I hope this list gives you some goodies to add to your own Christmas list! C’ya!
If you haven’t already, check out Edition #1: Things & Stuff on my wish list!
