I’m not a parent, probably won’t be in the raise-a-kid-in-your-house kind of way, but I have seen very first hand the phrase “the days are long but the years are short” that many mamas say to each other.
How have I lived in Nashville for EIGHTEEN YEARS? The entire life of a high school senior. There were days that crawled and seasons of pain and sadness and loneliness and yet, here we are. Eighteen years later, and I’m a different person. I don’t see it day to day, but I see it when I look back.
