We did our first AMA (“Ask Me Anything”) Saturday last week, and we had over 300 participants! We talked about everything under the sun, from this administration’s shenanigans to recipes to scleroderma (my condition) to pets and other animals, and everything in between! It was so awesome, and that’s why we’re doing it again (and maybe again and again)!
Here’s the recap of all of the good things that have happened over the past week or so in our battle to defend our country from the ravages of the current administration, and to turn this ship around!
Join me at 12pm Eastern today for the Week in Law: The Weekly Good News Roundup coming to you from the front line of the legal battle to save the soul of our democracy
Ghislaine Maxwell is of course trying her darndest to have her case re-opened, her conviction overturned, habeas corpus, hocus-pocus, whatever will get her out of prison. In a 26-page supplemental memorandum put together pro se by Maxwell, and just filed *yesterday* with the Court Maxwell argues violations of various rules of law by the DOJ,
Score a big one for the Quakers who, along with the Sikhs and the Baptists *sued the Department of Homeland Security* *and* Markwayne Mullin (I love that for him - oh the embarrassment of fighting *Quakers*... and LOSING!!)
As I mentioned a few days ago, I managed to snag and store all of the eight files that were released by the FBI in response to Bloomberg reporter Jason Leopold's FOIA request.
As a reminder, I’m going live at 2pm Eastern (in 2 hours) exposing the FLIMSY evidence that the DOJ is trying to use to reopen a dismissed criminal case against Kilmar Abrego Garcia!
This past week the DOJ filed *an appeal* of the dismissal in the Abrego Garcia criminal case. That's right, they are trying to get the Court of Appeals to *reverse* the dismissal and reinstate their bogus prosecution of Abrego Garcia. AND I HAVE THE FLIMSY EVIDENCE THEY ARE TRYING TO USE! AND I'M GOING LIVE WITH IT!
Just today Judge Katherine Menendez of the District Court of Minnesota put the finishing touches on her dismissal of Trump's effort to get at Minnesota's voter rolls. By "finishing touches" I mean the final judgement, which is the last nail in the coffin of a dismissal - that was just issued today; the underlying order was issued yesterday. You guys, this was the *23rd* state that the…
Thank you to everyone who joined this live broadcast about the shocking reveal of the smoking gun email, proving that the Office of the President of the United States was involved in what can only be called a conspiracy to target a state because Trump “has a problem with Colorado.” Notes from the Front members, as you know, your support is what allows …
In October of 2025 the State of Colorado sued Trump, alleging, among other things, that Trump's decision to move the U.S. Space Command out of Colorado was retaliation for Colorado's state-wide mail-in voting process. In fact, the lawsuit quotes Trump himself saying "The problem I have with Colorado” is that “they do mail-in voting” and that this “played a big factor” in the decision.
Y'all remember the Barbara (first names only please!) versus Trump birthright citizenship case, right? The one for which we all held our collective breaths as the Supreme Court determined whether the Constitution had any wiggle room for Trump to monkey with birthright citizenship, right? And how we all let out a collective sigh of relief when "his own" Supreme Court spanked him over that (just as…
Remember waaaaay back when, on December 1st (seems *so* long ago, doesn't it?) when the Court of Appeals in New Jersey issued a unanimous decision after Trump appealed the District Court ruling which ruled that the appointment of acting Assistant Alina Habba as an Assistant U.S. Attorney was *illegal*? (You can revisit that December spanking here:…
Here are the original recording and transcript of the 3-hour secret dinner meeting between Epstein, Ehud Barak, and Larry Summers. I am re-releasing the original audio and the transcript because of what is going on in Iran right now and the fact that Epstein, Barak, and Summers discuss Iran during this secret meeting. Remember that Barak was still the sitting Defense Minister of Israel during this…
On Friday evening, in response to a FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requests from Bloomberg's Jason Leopold, the FBI very quietly dropped 8 files. Of course I grabbed them immediately to store away safely on our private dropbox. NOTE! I will be going live about it at 2pm Eastern / 11 Pacific here: https://open.substack.com/live-stream/322965
So I decided that I would try pre-scheduling the AMA Saturday Live seeing as people seem to really like it, and it’s easier for people to plan if they know when it will be.
Here’s the recap of all of the good things that have happened over the past week or so in our battle to defend our country from the ravages of the current administration, and to turn this ship around!
First, you'll notice that I *didn't* say the Blanche hearing, because while the case is against Blanche, Blanche himself was not there, it was another DOJ attorney, Andrew Block. I was there for the whole call, but the acoustics were so bad - especially in the beginning - that it wasn’t distinct when he said his name at the beginning. I don't feel terribly badly about not hearing it distinctly…
Last year Todd Blanche pinky-swore that the only names that were being redacted in the Epstein drops were the names of victims (and they sure botched that, didn't they?) Specifically, on December 19, 2025, Todd Blanche said - and the Justice Department X account quoted Blanche as saying - "The only redactions being applied to the documents are those required by law - full stop. Consistent with the…
We are continuing our day-by-day breakdown of the transcripts of Ghilaine Maxwell's trial. Today we are talking about days 8 and 9 of the trial. The transcripts are included for Notes from the Front members.
*Just now* Judge Talwani (ooh we love her for so many reasons and decisions) dropped her opinion and order in the case involving the post office's attempt to put into effect Trump's executive order requiring states to *upload their mail-in voter rolls* to the post office.
Just when Blanche may have thought - what with having been confirmed and all - that he'd put that pesky matter of the Trump v. IRS case to rest; that the issue of him and Trump colluding and trying to pull a fast one on the Court was behind him... dun duh....dun duh... dun duh dun duh .... dun duh dun duh dun duh dun duh ... dududududududu ...
