While I am enthralled by the powerful orations at the DNC this week and the exciting photo posts of my friends who are there, I am still holding onto the joy of another powerful event. What a fortunate gift of the calendar it is that between the drama of two political conventions, we were invited to the global feast of the Paris Summer Olympics. I am still feeling the glow of all the events, from the opening ceremony to the closing, from gymnastics to shotput to track and field to volleyball to the triathlon, and this year’s addition, break dancing!
