The last thing I ever thought I’d be doing on TV news is talking about this! Usually it’s students of mine doing a cute performance, or maybe photos of them eating ice cream at a festival or something!
On San Antonio KENS 5 (December 1, 2022), I was asked to describe what happened, which felt weird but was handled sensitively by Matt Houston.
On Houston KPRC 2 (December 1, 2022), Joel Eisenbaum asked me if I thought there were others. Oh, there are others. Also, their site allows unmoderated comments, and WOW there are some fucked up perspectives reflected there!
On Houston KHOU 11 (December 2, 2022), Maria Aguilera used different footage from the same interview (since they are sister stations). It was tricky talking about which adults I told when, but I spoke as clearly as I could.
