I’ve finished updating MM romance thriller The Bones of Summer for audio, and have also updated the ending - to make it more obvious as to how Paul & Craig resolve their differences & restart their relationship after the horrific threats they’ve had to face. I’d forgotten how much I’ve missed those two in my head so it’s been nice to spend time with them again.

I’ve also continued to write more scenes for new MM romance Jack’s Party and am scribbling down scenes as & when they occur. The best friend character Jack is, I think, going to turn out to be a key part of Ralph & Alec’s story, but we’ll see. Ralph is looking back to his experience of bereavement three years ago when he lost his partner in a car crash. He’s also about to discover that his relationship with his deceased partner wasn’t quite as perfect as he’d imagined …

Meanwhile, I’ve started the first round of serious edits to The Music of Flowers. Fleur and I are listening to the flowers again and also tidying things up. Julia is once more getting in touch with the magic she longs for. So far it's not as bad as we'd feared ... I’m now about to start editing Chap 10 which I’ll start next week.

I’m very happy with my first audiobook review for quirky MM office romance Who Moved My Holepunch? 😍 "I'm sure the holepunch will never be the same again!" 😎

I have a new 4-star Amazon review for thoughtful MM romance Bridging The Gap (The Potter's Choice 2) 🥰 Because sometimes a relationship is worth saving ...

This week I’ve read My Husband's Wife by Alice Feeney: this is a great and twisty read, though it's also very bizarre indeed. I really loved the vibe between Birdy & Carter, both of whom were wonderful characters. It's a real page-turner and the plot races along. I have to admit to getting very confused about exactly what the crime was and who did it, however. But I didn't much mind as the characters here are what counts. Enjoyed the end twist too!

I’ve also read If I Met You First by A B Julian: this is such a fabulous and very sharp enemies to lovers MM romance. I really loved Xander & Myles, and they are just SO different that it's great! As well as the fact that they seriously don't like each other at first, the difference in their lifestyles and backgrounds is fabulous, with Xander being from a deeply troubled & impoverished childhood, and Myles being a moneyed business owner. They're more than a match for each other however, and I loved how they worked things out. Recommended.

Meanwhile the garden is looking good, & we have the first peony & the first rosebud!

Have a lovely week, everyone. And don’t forget to think of me when you’re next buying a book - thank you!
