I’ve had a creative week at my workspace. A couple of songs have taken shape, still raw but I think they might be keepers. We’ll see in a few weeks time when I bring them on stage, it’s the ultimate test.
I could have used some more downtime between my Swedish tour and the shows coming up. The brain and the body needs to reset, it gets chaotic going from one project straight into another, from one big task to the next. The “in between time” is so important for new ideas to take shape.
Strong black coffee will have to do this time. I wake up really early and trust that the hours will do the job for me.
