A peek inside my mind / recent saves looks like:
With a change of season comes new loves and an updated wishlist. Here are some of mine.
Loving: I love layering body care in the evening to boost hydration overnight. Lili’s Instant Peel is a huge hit (rightfully so), but my favourite from the line is the Firming Serum. It’s formulated with arbutin and bakuchiol to help smooth and even skin tone, plus other good stuff to hydrate, soothe, and deliver a boost of antioxidants. I’ve been layering the Marie Veronique Body Barrier Emulsion over top, which is an incredible oil/cream hybrid. If you’re familiar with Rhode’s Glazing Milk and Barrier Butter, the texture feels like a cross between the two. It’s rich and amazing. Neither product has added fragrance, so if you’re sensitive to that, this one is for you!
Wishlist: 6397 Heirloom Elbow Tee. I love a good elbow tee—an elevated variation of an everyday staple. Personally, I have my eye on Jet or Dover, but Panther and Asparagus are soo fun.
Loving: Double sweater styling. Unsurprisingly, as someone deeply drawn to knitwear, I’ve been loving the idea of doubling up, particularly when the two pieces almost feel like a twin set. Jennifer Lawrence gives us a perfect example in this brown-on-brown moment—the whole look is perfect to me.
Wishlist: I’m really into the look of the Kohana cotton-jersey pant from The Row, but not so into the accompanying price tag. These two options look just as good, and I always trust the quality from LESET and DONNI.
Loving: Hydrobalm Tinted Lipstick. I’ve really been enjoying the new tinted lip from Westman Atelier—so much so that I just picked it up in a new shade, Glogg, and I’m really excited about it. It feels like a cross between a lip stain and a hydrating balm. Really beautiful!
Wishlist: A good bronze for summer, specifically in the form of the new VB Bronzing drops or the Westman Atelier Bronzing Creme. Two completley different formulas, both equally as intriguing to me.
Loving: Wearing dainty shoes with athletic wear.
Wishlist: Looking back on recent saves, I’ve noticed lots of lacquered, ornate design elements. I’m on the hunt for something to bring into my home to achieve the look.
Loving: Valentine West is a relatively newer pajama brand that has been a favourite of mine ever since I tried their Bobby Set. They recently launched the Miles, a cotton-hemp blend in a really cute stripe that’s quickly become my most worn.
Wishlist: And because it’s almost nightgown season, I have my eye on something from Nuisette for a nightie that doubles as a breezy summer dress.
