There is something about this colour that SPEAKS to me.

I need another pair of DONNI Silk Taffeta Pants* like a hole in the head, so I’ll be skipping this one, but dare I say the latest colour launch - ‘rhubarb’ - might be my favourite yet. I tire of patterns quickly in my wardrobe, so block colour would be my preference for a purchase this pricey, and even though these are pink, which is usually a big no-no for me, the richness of the colour feels far easier to style than the usual baby hue. Size note: Go true to size in these; I wear a medium (code ANNA10 gets you 10% off).

This note from Arielle sent me down a green cargo-shaped rabbit hole after she revealed hers were vintage (of course, that’s why they are so good!). The majority of my trousers sit at ankle length (see above), so I’ve been hunting for longer pairs to add some variety to my wardrobe. I’ve done some digging and feel like these could be the key*? They give Citizens of Humanity vibes, for like, a third of the price.

Baggy trousers + little sandals = a great combo.
Dress like you’re island hopping to visit… the local playground.

I spotted this dress* on both Jia and Lizzy this week, so imagine my delight when I realised that it came in white (which is what I was searching for as I already have the LBD category in my wardrobe covered by the LESET Yoko Dress*). The thing I love about it is that it looks short, and personally, I think that’s what you want with a mini. Just make sure you’ve got these on underneath*.

I had been quite resistant to the Bermuda short trend, but two things happened this week. One, I spent yet another dinner with my sweaty arse getting stuck to a plastic chair, which is sensory hell. And two, I put together my ‘35 Very Stylish Substack Writers On What They Wear When It’s Too Hot To Think’ post and realised, thanks to Kelly’s quote, that Bermudas were, in fact, the answer.

“Thank god we are in the era of Bermuda shorts because I can wear itsy bitsy tops with longer shorts and still feel pulled together. Bonus that my legs won’t touch public seats!”

BUT my OG LESET Barb Shorts* are back in stock, this time with a little extra lace added to the trim. They are available in black too.
I actually LOVE how it’s styled here.

In this week’s edition of 'Keeping DHL in business’, I’ve got this St Agni Belted Side Detail Top* currently in the post on its way to me. 100% linen, with a square neckline and a subtle belted detail on each side, plus it was on sale. I feel like it adheres well to my newly implemented shopping mantras.

Tops are on the brain (aren’t they always!?), because this message popped up from Phoebe in the chat and you lot came through with the recommendations.

Your style-related smorgasbord for the week:

  • I’m promoing my own work here, because it feels truly such an honour to be able to receive quotes from the best of the best of style Substack. What a treat it was to put together a post on summer dressing featuring ideas from 25 of my favorite writers. Ideas by the bucketload in this one…

35 Very Stylish Substack Writers On What They Wear When It's Too Hot To Think

Jul 15

I sent this writing prompt to my favourite Substack writers on the cusp of what felt like a global heatwave, so the answers given here are tried and tested, baby. My exact question was ‘It’s sticky, it’s humid, and you don’t want to wear clothes full stop (ha!) - so what are you *actually* wearing?’

Never without my Midimalist tote.

Here's What I Bought Recently & How I'm Styling It All

This post is essentially part two of Sunday’s newsletter, ‘A Stylist Told Me What To Buy This Summer’. I mean, what can I say? I took Reva’s advice! You might have only read that post two days ago, but I wrote it almost a month ago, so in the background I’ve been doing my homework like the teacher’s pet I am. I came, I saw, I purchased

Rating Every Purchase I’ve Made in 2026 So Far

I usually do these round-ups when I can look back at a whole year of purchases, but like, that can be a lot for one post!!! So I thought for this year, I’ll break it down into two parts: one delivered now and the final entry in December. A slightly speedier version where I rate every single thing I’ve purchased
