Hello Moon(light)ers,
I am writing to share an update regarding my father, “Papa Dong,” and to ask for your support. As many of you know, he is currently battling stage 4 colorectal cancer, which has spread to his lymph glands and liver. I have shared more about his journey, “Ripples and Waves of Grief,” in my Substack newsletter.
He recently underwent surgery to remove intestinal blockages so he can begin eating normally again. Despite being in incredible pain, he remains a fighter — keeping his spirits high and even joking with us.
We are currently seeking financial support to help cover his medical bills, hospitalisation, and medications. Additionally, these funds will help my husband and I purchase plane tickets to fly home to the Philippines to be by his side.
