It’s that time of year when we finally start thinking about autumn dressing. My favourite time of year, and I honestly can’t wait.
We’re in that in between weather phase, so transitional dressing starts to become a thing. One of my favourite ways to do it is to keep wearing those summer pieces but add a little knitwear, socks and loafers, or a lightweight trench coat.
I want to eke out my summer wardrobe for as long as possible before we pack it away, and layering is the perfect way to deal with those days when the weather can’t quite make up its mind.
At the moment, I’m leaving the house with a jumper on and coming home without it. Classic British weather.
