Hello beautiful human,
It’s an early February morning, gray and cold and not terribly welcoming, but each dawn comes a little earlier now so that’s something. I’m in the middle of a head cold that had me at full stop for a couple of days. It felt like good medicine to do Nothing. Even today, I’m moving very slowly and maybe that needs to be my speed for a while. Maybe I need to move more slowly and shift into question mode more frequently. How did we get here? Where are we going next? What can I do to lend my shoulder to the wheel and who’s determining the direction?
I’ve been thinking…Things feel like they’re falling apart, and maybe they need to. Maybe we can put them back together in new and better ways. And maybe sometimes that work can happen quietly, stitch by stitch and letter by letter and hand to hand. Honestly I don’t know how else it’s supposed to happen.
What are we making? What do we want to make? I think these questions are best asked and answered in collective. As promised, An Inviting Space is pirouetting just a bit to incorporate more opportunities for community and give us a chance to make things in each other’s company. I believe our world needs new stories. what if those stories lie curled within us like seeds? This is An Inviting Space to experience where and how we might discover, recover and nurture the secret, magical gardens of soul day by day. Starting where we are, as we are.
