Officially back from a very fun trip to Jackson Hole with my family. We had such a great time hiking in Grand Teton, spotting big bison buddies in Yellowstone and strolling the charming town of Jackson Hole. The only thing I wish I got to see, was a moose. But we got to see a bear at the very last minute and it was so cool. And so glad we had some good distance between us. Never thought I’d be renting bear spray to carry around on a vacation, but we did. A full travel guide is to come.
I also unexpectedly spent an extra night in Jackson Hole after my flight was delayed by 24 hours due to maintenance issues. You don’t realize how spoiled we are at major hubs with mechanics just feet away to fix whatever you need so you can get on your way. Instead, I stayed an extra night, solo—not ideal. However, I did get to finally dine at a restaurant we couldn’t get reservations for. A silver lining, I suppose. After returning home, I slept 11 glorious hours in my bed with no distractions.

Yes, fall fashion is around the corner. And here are some things I’m eyeing that I think we’ll see trending for the upcoming season.
The mesh shoe - And no, not the really see-through ones. But just mesh material for a softer look. These are really great and only $50 (limited time at the NSALE), and also loving these kitten heel mules. If you like a Mary Jane, try these leopard ones which are great for everyday or even the office.
A low heeled boot - Goodbye skinny high heeled boots, loving this low heel trend. These Steven Madden boots are great and only $179, loving these from Calvin Klein and these STAUD ones are so good with a bit of a western vibe to them and a great price for designer. Mary Jane Sneakers - You’ll either love or hate these, but expect them to be on trend this fall. These lace up ones that are on sale are so cool (more colors here) or try the Mary Jane version here.
I read this article by writer Tyler McCall on what we take away from all the influencers we follow. How it should be less about buying the exact items they share, and instead, getting inspired by what they’re putting together and how it can translate to our own closets. I think about this ALL the time as someone who tends to share a lot of older pieces from my closet that are no longer available. It’s less about the exact piece, but more about the styling tips and inspiration along the way.
Sported my Sezane Max shirt while in Jackson Hole and was reminded how chic this can be. So simple, so classic, and you can easily make it your own with accessories and styling. I like to look for a poplin fabric that has some weight to it and holds its shape versus ones that are more flowy and thin. Here’s a few of my favorites and ones I’m eyeing.
The Max Sezane shirt, such a good weight to it too. I take my regular size since it’s oversized. I’m also ordering this style from Sezane to try next.
This Madewell button down with fun stripes is a great option. I opted for a size large for a relaxed fit.
Caslon can make some great classics—this striped one is perfection.
AYR makes GREAT tops, tees and jeans. This oxford is a classic, I’d size up.

I can’t stop listening to two albums that are on repeat. Gracie Abrams new album, Daughter From Hell. The song “Men Like You” is so addictive. Plus, Olivia Rodrigo’s new album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, is top-tier 2000s emo-pop-inspired vibes.
