Today was a big one.
After months of development (including the short story written back in 2017), rewriting, testing, and surviving my own mental feedback loops, the pilot episode of my speculative tech thriller, Re App: Prime Frequency, is officially locked and loaded.
✅ A completed, competition-ready pilot script
✅ A detailed series bible with characters, arcs, and worldbuilding
✅ A pitch deck built for producers, streamers, and labs
✅ A refined logline, premise, and tone positioning
✅ A full season arc — mapped, polished, and scary as hell
Re App follows a group of grad students in neurotechnology who invent an app that allows users to mentally link in real time. At first, it seems like a breakthrough in communication. Then it gets personal. Then it gets hallucinatory. And then — it gets political.
We’re talking Russian mob, DARPA, and a digital mind-arms race that makes Black Mirror look like a training manual.
This script is the closest I’ve come to merging my medical background, my obsession with consciousness, and my deep fear of what happens when we stop controlling our tools — and they start rewriting us.
Working with a producer to tighten up the pitch
Submission to major TV, streamers, and competitions
Visual development on key scenes and characters
Companion essays on neurotech ethics and narrative cognition
And eventually... a published novella version? We'll see.
For those of you following my post-apocalyptic project, I haven’t forgotten about it. I’ve drafted two new chapters this week — and they are gritty.
We’re deeper in Dust Town now.
The water’s still murky.
And a young doctor learns her craft.
Stay tuned. I’ll be sharing previews in the next issue — and yes, the General is on the hunt.
If you’re a producer, a reader, a story freak, or someone who thinks they’ve seen the edge of where sci-fi meets psychology...
Re App is what happens when your phone stops ringing — and starts remembering.
