Ani Alexander · Non-Fungible Rebels

Initially I planned to post this yesterday but looking at the bloodbath in the markets and the emotional roller coater crypto people were going through I decided to do it today instead.

I know it’s tough watching the charts now and some are probably leveraged and overinvested both financially and emotionally.

I’ve seen this happen several times before - so it feels like a deja vu to me… Even people’s reactions and comments about it are the same every time.

Which is why I know that all those claims about the end of crypto are not true.

Today’s podcast is about the more soulful side of the web3 space: the one with art and artists in it.

In this episode I spoke to Blockmuse.

Audio version here

Blockmuse and I had many conversations before on Twitter Spaces and most of them have been deep and thought-provoking.

This time we livestreamed it and now you get to watch/listen to the recording.

In this episode we spoke about:

  • How did he get into the NFT art space

  • Why he did not give up and leave the space

  • His failed attempt to write a fluffy poem

  • How did he find the courage to share his art

  • Punching back at the world

  • Humanizing tech through experiences

  • Creating art and being vulnerable

  • NFT artists vs crypto degens

  • Relational art

If you want to learn more about what Blockmuse is about please check out his substack and his website.

There are many exciting things we’ve been working on that I can’t share with you yet. I can’t wait to do it too though - patience has never been among my strong features.

Meanwhile though maybe you could join Rebels community on X or just push that bell button on my X profile to make sure you won’t miss anything once I start sharing what’s coming!
