Hi friends!
I skipped my letter to you on Day 5 because frankly I felt a little burnt out after 4 long-form essays. Having gotten some rest, read more, eaten more good food, I’m feeling a little more rejuvenated!
Today I wanted to share with you some free poems I had written in my journal while I was practicing how to write poetry in English.
I love free poems because it allows me to experiment with the most open and unconstraint form of self-expression. I find it super difficult though, but here goes something!

Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
the blank page looks at me, softly says,
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
you’re not ready yet, but time will be there
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
when i wish to write
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
the blank page lends a cursor to my hand
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
slow down, things grow at their own pace
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
when i long to write
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
the blank page asks me to rest,
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
to enjoy the purity of its possibilities
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
to hold on to the mystery,
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
to adore the imperfect brilliance,
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
that my heart will muster with all its strength
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
on the page,
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
this blank page,
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
it will teach you how to write,
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
it will teach you how to see,
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
a window to the endless stories of life.

Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
do fools chase dreams,
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
or do dreams invite us in? --
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
in this dream, I exist.
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
a tree stands,
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
evergreen,
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
under it, I rest.
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
--
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
a house looms,
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
worn, ancient, lost.
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
--
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
your hand appears, warm, tightly clasped in mine.
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
--
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
do dreams let us in, or do we chase their distant glow?
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
do we dive deep by choice, or get swept in their flow?
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
if dreams are reflections of our thoughts and fears,
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
what is it are we looking for,
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
in these silent, private spheres?
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
--
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
maybe the answer isn't in the chase or the invitation,
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
but in shared moments under the evergreen,
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
a quiet affirmation,
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
that in dreams and when awake, it's love that we find,
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
the warmth of your hand, firmly held in mine.

Just recently discovered Laufey’s music! Particularly adored this song “I Wish You Love“
Started watching Succession after hearing so many buzz about it and the fact that it just ended. This tweet has me dead:
Discovered a super cute Montreal comic made by a Montreal lover. I’m floored by how adorable it is!
Interesting piece on how to (not) view AI art by Amanda Wong from Reboot! I thought this adds a great perspective among many takes on AI art out there.
Thanks so much for reading! See you tomorrow! :”)
