‘Takes a smart cookie to get her own
Indie Books on the shelves of a New York
Public Library!’
It's NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK • Still Life With Saints (2020) & The Ghosts of Italy (2016) are Library Journal curated selections for the Indie Author Project (IAP) Commercial Collections Memoirs Program in the National Library database on Overdrive.
You can borrow them both at Queens Public Library NYC @QPLNYC or search / request from your local library.
Here in far eastern Campania, Italy, where libraries and bookstores (in Italian or English!) are few and far between, I use the Libby Library App to borrow books from around the country.
Both books are also included in the Indie New York Anthology collection on the Biblioboard Library platform in nonfiction and travel memoirs and the Indie Author Project (IAP) Select New Releases collection in memoir and travel nationally. Check your local listings!
This week Queens Public Library posting — “A reminder for you on #RightToReadDay: let everyone know that you support the freedom to read!’
We all support the #RightToRead • Freedom to Read Day •
Angela Paolantonio is the author of THE GHOSTS OF ITALY (2016). In STILL LIFE WITH SAINTS (2020) she trades Mulholland Drive for via Fontana to live in the house where her Italian spirit was born, on a magical lane among the women of the village who take her under their wing and into their lives.
