I took a little longer than usual between my last couple of podcast episodes…not because nothing was happening, but because everything was (in the best possible ways). Listen to the podcast episode here.
Here’s something most people don’t know: emotions are actually what make us unique as humans. Most dark force entities (including aliens, despite what Hollywood wants you to believe) don’t experience emotions the way we do. Aliens, for example, are largely neutral and detached, which is exactly why they’re so fascinated by us and choose to study us.
Our emotions, when mastered, are one of our greatest powers. They fuel manifestation, healing, connection, change. But unmastered? They become a massive vulnerability.
Dark forces use emotional imbalance as a direct entry point. This isn’t random. It’s strategic. When you’re in a heightened emotional state — anger, fear, grief, shame, jealousy — your protections drop, your rational mind goes offline, your intuition gets clouded, and your connection to Source weakens. You’re essentially running on autopilot, usually from a wounded version of yourself that’s much younger than you are right now.
And that’s exactly when they move in.
A couple weeks ago, I was driving with my daughter — we’d just dropped my son off at summer camp — when the car started moving violently. I thought it was breaking down. Then I looked over at the parked cars on the street and they were doing it too. The power lines were waving like noodles in the sky with the 5.6 earthquake.
And here’s what I want to tell you about that moment: I didn’t panic.
Not because I’m fearless — but because of how much nervous system and healing work I’ve done over the years. I put my hand on my daughter’s knee. I checked in intuitively — do we stay in the car? Yes. I told her we were going to be okay, and we just sat there and rode it out.
That’s what emotional mastery looks like in practice. The old me would have grabbed her and completely fallen apart. I wouldn’t have been able to access my intuition at all. And that’s exactly what dark forces count on — that fear response, that panic, that wide open emotional field.
You can do all the nervous system work in the world from the safety of your home. But until something real and scary happens, you don’t actually know if it’s integrated. That earthquake was my test. And calm is now genuinely my default.
Think about babies for a second…they come into this world screaming and demanding exactly what they need: food, attention, touch - with absolutely zero shame about any of it. They know what they want and they go for it without apology. And then slowly, through programming, trauma, being told to calm down, to be quiet, to stop being so emotional, and so much more, that gets completely trained out of us.
So we either suppress our emotions entirely (which doesn’t make them go away, it just buries them somewhere deeper) or we swing the other way and become completely dominated by them - reactive, ungrounded, and at the mercy of whatever is happening around us or being sent our way. Neither of those is emotional mastery.
What Source has shown me is that the goal was never to eliminate emotions or become some kind of robot…the goal is to master them, not allow them to be the master of our life.
As I mentioned, emotions are actually fuel and power when they’re mastered. But unmastered, they are a liability - and not just in terms of what you want in your life, but in terms of how accessible you are to dark force interference.
Something I see a lot in the spiritual world is healers who focus only on the light, thinking that will keep them protected. It won’t. Ignoring dark forces doesn’t make you safe — it actually makes you more of a target, especially if your light is shining bright. This is one of the ways gifted healers get hijacked by dark forces. The truth is: once you’ve established yourself as someone who knows what you’re dealing with in the dark force world, they tend to think twice about attacking. But if you’re acting like they don’t exist - you’re wide open.
Dark forces don’t necessarily create your wounds, but they will absolutely amplify them…and I want to be really precise about that because I see a lot of confusion around it. When someone is going through something really hard and they start emotionally unraveling, I almost always see dark force activity layered on top of that when I look in. They find exactly where you’re already hurting and turn the volume up until you genuinely can’t tell what’s yours and what isn’t anymore.
It might look like: your abandonment wound turns into “evidence” that no one will ever stay. Your fear of failure becomes this overwhelming certainty that there’s no point in trying. Your anger becomes something that burns down your relationships. And you think it’s just you having a hard time, but it’s not…or at least, not entirely. It’s a little seed they found and took advantage of, and what you’re experiencing is the amplified version of it.
Bear with me for a quick history detour because this one is genuinely worth it. In 463 BC, during a time when most Greek leaders were loud, dramatic, and making every decision from pure ego and emotion, there was a leader named Pericles who did something pretty revolutionary: he refused to make any decision while in a heightened emotional state. He would take a day, sometimes two, sit with what he was feeling, trace it back to its actual root, and only then respond. While everyone around him was reactive and easily manipulated, Pericles simply could not be shaken, and he led powerfully for a very long time.
Now think about that in the context of dark forces. If your enemies know that provoking you emotionally will make you do exactly what serves them (and dark forces absolutely know this) then the most radical thing you can do is create that pause…that space between feeling and acting. That space is genuinely where your power lives, and it’s something most humans never develop.
Here’s something I see in almost every session with a client: most of the time, when we’re having an intense emotional reaction to something happening right now, we’re not actually reacting to that situation at all. We’re reacting from a childhood emotional state that never got resolved. Someone sends you a short text without emojis and you spiral into feeling completely rejected, or a friend cancels plans and suddenly it feels unbearable…the reaction doesn’t match the situation because it was never really about the situation. It’s the three-year-old or seven-year-old or twelve-year-old version of you getting triggered all over again, and the body genuinely doesn’t know the difference between then and now.
Trauma doesn’t just live in our minds - it stores itself in the body, in the tissues, in the cells, in the energy. Our bodies are predominantly made of water, and water holds memory, which is actually scientifically documented. So when something traumatic happens, that memory gets encoded in the water in our cells and it stays there until it’s removed, which is why years of talk therapy can leave you feeling like nothing has actually shifted. You’re only working with the mental layer, but the memory is still in the body.
In my sessions, I remove memories from where they’re being held physically — not erasing them from your conscious awareness, but releasing the grip they have on your body and your energy. I also call back soul pieces, clear cords, and do healing on the original event, because the wound needs to be addressed at every level for something to actually change.
Even without a session, there’s real work you can begin right now. Awareness is always the first step…so when a strong emotion comes up, label it, but don’t just accept the surface label (example: anger). Typically what comes up first is almost never the real emotion. What presents as anger could be fear or sadness or rejection underneath…what presents as frustration is often feeling unseen or unimportant — so keep asking “why” and keep following the thread down until you get to something that actually rings true.
From there, create the pause, like Pericles did. Before you respond to anything that’s triggered you, whether it’s a text or a conversation or a situation, give yourself a window of at least ten to twenty minutes and commit to not making decisions or sending responses from inside that emotional state.
It’s also worth checking whether the thought is even yours, because contagion thoughts (thoughts you’re picking up from other people or that dark forces have planted) are incredibly common and most people have no idea it’s happening. You can be sitting in a coffee shop and suddenly feel like nobody cares about you…and it’s not even your thought - you’re catching it from someone nearby. A simple practice is to say internally “these thoughts are my own” three times and visualize a gold light clearing from the center of your head, then notice what’s still there.
And if you have intuition, start pulling your emotional levels: anger, fear, criticism, overwhelm, disappointment…and which area of life each one is highest in, because that creates a precise map of what’s actually going on energetically and where to start.
Your emotions are not the enemy - they never were. But unmastered, they are one of the most reliably exploited entry points for dark force interference…and ignoring that doesn’t protect you, it just makes you more accessible.
When you do this work, something shifts. You start to create that Pericles-level pause. You learn to tell the difference between your own emotions and installed ones. Childhood wounds stop running your present-day life. And dark forces? They have a genuinely hard time reaching you in the same way.
You’re no longer just a ragdoll for them to play with…but a force to be reckoned with. Even earthquakes can’t shake you. ;-)

P.S. If you haven’t gone through my free Seeing Clearly dark force series yet, that’s where I’d start. The next live Q&A is coming up and you’ll need to have gone through the series first.
P.P.S. I also just quietly launched something I’ve only shared with private clients until now — The Guided Accelerator and The Pocket Intuitive. If you’ve been wanting consistent support between sessions, this was built for exactly that. 🤍
