Thanks for reading Anette Nilsson's Substack! This post is public, so feel free to share it.
To my inner circle,
Writing this feels a bit like stepping out from behind a curtain. For a long time, I lived what I now call a “cover story”—a fine veil over things that were going wrong below, but never a healer. I chose the color beige because it was the color of disinterest, a lack of vitality, and a life lived through that cover.
On March 24, that story officially changes.
My memoir, Soul-Happy, is finally ready to enter the world. It’s a story about the “Viking woman’s long road home,” but more than that, it is about the moment I realized that “grace is no accident.” It is the result of choosing the force of joy over the alternative, even when the alternative feels easier.
As the publication date approaches, your support means everything. Whether it’s pre-ordering a copy or simply sharing this journey with someone who needs to hear that healing is possible, I am deeply grateful.
We are almost home.
With love and gratitude,
Anette
