From the Veronicas

When that feeling of I have absolutely nothing to wear strikes—it comes for us all—here’s how to make getting dressed easier and more fun… Xo, the Veronicas

Images clockwise from top left: an undone sleeve from Pinterest, vintage Jane Birkin images from Pinterest, VSB styling on set, cover art from Erin Walsh’s new book.
  1. The best outfits are always a bit less “done.” When we’re on set shooting a new collection, we’re constantly scrunching up sleeves, unbuttoning shirts—anything to loosen it up.

  2. Jane Birkin is our forever style muse. Queen of the flare jean, she’s an endless source of inspiration for us—and also proof that the hair makes the outfit.

  3. It’s so important to FEEL good in our clothes. Everyone should pre-order Erin Walsh’s book The Art of Intentional Dressing for her expert insights on emotional style.

Images clockwise from top left: VMB’s favorite scarf trick, Veronica Beard belt styling, vintage cuff image shot by Sheila Metzner from Pinterest, brooch from Sonia Petroff, more scarf styling with VSB, charm bracelet from Anita Berisha, belts from Escada Spring/Summer 1994.
  1. Jewelry can be styled, too. A cuff bracelet over a sleeve, a brooch on a blazer, an embellished collar—think of it like adding your autograph to your outfit, an unexpected touch that makes it unique to you. We love sourcing vintage pieces from The RealReal and Etsy, plus Sonia Petroff and Anita Berisha are great places to find modern heirlooms.

  2. Another low effort, high impact accessory: the humble belt. Over a blazer, over a dress—bonus points if it’s vintage. VSB’s mom passed down an incredible collection of belts that we love to mix in with newer pieces.

  3. An easy way to try the scarf dressing trend: fold a silk bandana over a headband so it stays secure in your hair—as seen at our CFDA dinner the other week.

  4. A few of our favorite Substacks for styling inspo: Unfiltered by Laura Vidrequin, In Moda Veritas by Irene Kim, and The Allison Bornstein Newsletter by—you guessed it—Allison Bornstein.

Images clockwise from top left: Celine Men’s shoes and styling from @theperfectmagazine on Instagram, Jacob Elordi images from @wendiandnicole on Instagram, vintage cars from Pinterest.
  1. We have a style crush (and also a real crush) on Jacob Elordi. His Wuthering Heights press tour is a masterclass in details, from the matching socks and loafers to the perfectly rolled cuffs.

  2. Speaking of well-dressed men, we can’t stop thinking about the color combinations from the Celine Men’s Fall/Winter ’26 Collection: cherry red and bright cobalt, pale yellow and shiny black, all the shades of brown and burgundy…so, so good.

Images clockwise from top left: vintage tonal styling from Pinterest, custom VB illustration from @blairz, vintage Elle Macpherson image from Pinterest, more tonal styling on set, a personal take on the uniform from @dontletdisco.
  1. The rumors are true: pant shapes are slimming down. We’ve been leaning into feminine, refined fits lately, as long as they’re balanced with something more relaxed on top.

  2. Tonal dressing is the secret to chic layered looks. Two color families you can’t go wrong with: pale blue with anything denim, or shades of beige, camel and cream together.

  3. What to wear when you don’t know what to wear? Our uniform of a blazer and jeans never fails. There’s endless ways to make it your own. Play with proportions, mix in something vintage, add an unexpected accessory... Personal style is in the details.
