Like last week, it’s been pretty hot here again, which means that we’ve been enjoying the sunshine and plenty of plein air opportunities. How’s your week been? Whatever you’ve been up to, I hope you’ve found a little time to relax and enjoy the August sunshine.

With all of this lovely weather going around, I took plenty of time to enjoy some of the views over the fields again this week - here’s some beautiful landscapes I found especially inspiring. Who knows? Maybe you’ll find them inspiring too.
A curious question, but do you recognise this doorway? It’s one of the better known ones in the UK. For those of you who are fantasy fans, this might be a little easier - it’s the Door of Durin in Lord of the Rings. Well, actually, it’s the entrance to the church on Stowe-on-the-Wold. You can actually walk right through it if you want.
We stumbled across it on our travels in the Cotswolds recently, and of course, we had to stop by and take a picture along the way.
