3. TAKHISTOV also expressed interest in traveling overseas to engage in paramilitary-style training and encouraged others to do the same. Specifically, in or around June 2023, TAKHISTOV stated, "we need to arm up and train" and "people keep saying the time isn't right we'll fight later. There's a f****** genocide against us when is the better time to fight?" TAKHISTOV later stated, "I have a good friend who went to South Africa to arm [up] and train. Once I secure finances for the trip, I intend to do the same."

We do not get to know much at all about who built Takhistov, who is now just 20 years old. What we know is that the FBI started working on him right about when he turned 18, and it seems that they knew of him at least a year earlier.

The FBI has now spent a lot of resources playing this child with big ideas, after he had years’ worth of online contact with far-right groups. You can read the entire complaint if you care to.

I wonder what Takhistov’s home and school life were like.

We had violent racists in our New Jersey High School, Black and White. It was the early 1970’s. There was no online grooming then. Red neck v. militants, pretty much sums it up. I remember it as scary and stupid. We took our lumps and moved through the worst of it, most of us shook our heads and got over it.

I remember all the players involved with shaping my teen-age psyche. I would have gone anywhere and done just about anything asked of me them. I did more than my share of things. I was lucky to have mentors who were more interested in physics and photography than blowing up stuff. We had done that in grammar school, anyway.

I question the playing of a teen to secure an indictment at seventeen or eighteen even. Of course, I never met the child, his parents, the FBI employee who worked this kid, or the supervisors who allowed this to progress.

While we have a convicted felon in the White House, and too many crimes being committed by federal employees daily in New Jersey to keep track of, we spend two years to make some sort of case against one very twisted New Jersey teen.

New Jersey needs to do better for all of its children. Still, I do not have all the facts at hand, and I could be totally wrong the way I am reading this one. I want to be, but I have seen too many smart kids get talked into dumb shit that they never get a chance to grow out of. Could this have been the case with Takhistov?
