Xbox Partner Preview was solid. Super Meat Boy 3D (one of my all-time favorite platformer series) is finally coming, and the new trailer for Stranger Than Heaven from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio (the Yakuza/Like a Dragon team) looks epic.
Here’s what stood out for me:
Hades 2 arrives on Xbox Series X/S and Game Pass on April 14, 2026
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Cost of Hope expansion coming Summer 2026
Wuthering Waves launches on Xbox in July 2026
Grave Seasons (cozy farming + murder mystery) hits August 14
Frog Sqwad, Ascend to Zero, Bluey’s Happy Snaps, and more
What I like most is how strong the third-party support continues to be. Consumers are winning big with this variety — big RPGs, roguelites, cozy games, family titles, and hardcore platformers all heading to Xbox and Game Pass.
This kind of consistent third-party momentum is exactly what Xbox needs as they head toward Project Helix. By building strong relationships and bringing so many games to both console and PC today, Xbox is setting itself up perfectly for the hybrid future. When Project Helix arrives, we’ll be able to play these titles seamlessly across console and PC in one unified ecosystem.
Solid showcase. Xbox is keeping the pipeline full heading into the next generation.
