This poem is from the new collection, This Wild Arising, that I’m publishing on June 21st (Summer Solstice).
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
We move fast through this tunnel, lightspeed, warping to fit into the box conceived of in separation we ride lightning like water, boom and flash flood rivers hatching through portals that other worlds hide until a kindness remembers in us. watching children play at being famous witnessing the world acting as if cruelty is novelty and artistic and love is hoax, nobody can quite get or give all these broken shards of wholeness stitch themselves together again ok, humpty dumpty, sit on that wall or fall, the light shines through the cracks of your choosing
May your choosing bring you home.
With love,
Andrea
