The early bird gets the worm was a turn of phrase developed by a large shoe size wearing woman who always got the cute boots she wanted because they only make approximately 3 pair of boots in bigger sizes. I’ll get this out of the way and say yes, there are more large size shoe options than before. However! It’s like each brand only makes 6 pair world wide for the global big footed community. Nothing sells out faster than a cute wide width boot that doesn’t look like you wrapped your calves in tin foil.
