maillards (sunset) - finally finally FINALLY tried their new location and of course loved it. super cute vibe with obviously great food (I just wish that they had a gf bun </3). very much recommend!
kira shop (sunset) - one of the cutest little shops in the inner sunset; I am not sure who their buyer is but they are doing an amazing job (they stock frankie’s bikinis, things between, emijay, all of it!)
signal (north beach) - signal’s newer location right off of columbus; they had a great morning pastry selection (& bagels). this would be a great stop on the way to aquatic cove for a walk
lil sweet treat (marina) - I love sour candy so much so I was so happy when this place opened. you pay by weight instead of by type of candy (try the red bottles!)
parachute (ferry building) - got a basque cheesecake (gluten-free) and it was fabulous
clementina (richmond) - I haven’t had focaccia in forever and it was delicious; the space was gorgeous; and I think we all know how I feel about clement st. <3
kokkari (jackson square) - hadn’t gone for the longest time but just came back for my best friend’s birthday dinner and it was so yummy. loved the ambiance and the drinks were strong, another 10/10 for me
jandii (parkside) - huge & gorgeous new cafe on taraval, had so much seating! drew tried their raspberry scone and loved it - I really want to try their draft on tap. this is the perfect spot to work remote
ram's gate (sonoma) - went for the first time over the weekend and completely fell in love with the property. the whole place has that grand, cozy restoration-hardware-showroom energy but make it a winery; service was amazing and we spent hours just eating and sipping
the deluxe (haight-ashbury) - club deluxe, a monumental part of san francisco's jazz scene, closed 3 years ago and it is BACK and beautifully restored!!! from the team behind mr. tipple's, with live music every single night. grab a greyhound (freshly squeezed grapefruit, their signature) and settle in. ig linked here
binge coffee house (mission) - beloved binge from berkeley (see what I did there) has opened up in the mission! they serve vietnamese coffee, matcha and banh mi; try their mango matcha latte. ig linked here
bar malones (oracle park) - down the street from the baseball park, bar malones would of course be a perfect stop before / after a game; also perfect for a happy hour with friends after work. their space looks gorgeous, can’t wait to try. ig linked here
oklava cafe (soma) - brought to us by the same team as turquaz, oklava will serve turkish coffee made with sightglass beans and traditional turkish food (along with everyone’s favorite, lahmacun). (we can go here and all mourn what could have been with türkiye in the world cup </3). ig linked here
side characters (polk) - new cafe / listening lounge on polk!!! looks gorgie cannot wait to go; what a great addition to the neighborhood. ig linked here
pilates 107 (potrero hill) - new pilates studio in potrero hill coming soon! ig linked here
constance tea (richmond) - “san francisco’s first and only freshly milled matcha,” everything looks phenomenal! ig linked here
viana velvet (marina) - russian manicure! new location opening on lombard, ig linked here
found in the fog (marina) - new antique, art & collectibles market held at marina middle school, next market is july 26th. ig linked here

there/there (oakland) - in the former friends and family space, there/there has officially opened!!!! queer gathering space that has amazing food and bev, ig linked here
sam edelman flats - I am so so so picky about my flats because if they do not survive on my 25-minute-walk commute to work then they will be immediately returned. I was looking for simple and comfy black flats and I found them! very soft and took no time breaking in. shoes linked here
kitchen confidential by anthony bourdain - I’m finally reading kitchen confidential for the first time and have fallen in love with bourdain’s writing style. this book is an “exposé” of his 25 years in the restaurant industry, and it's chaotic and filthy and hilarious
souvla froyo - we all know and love souvla. what I forgot about was their amazing frozen yogurt that I used to get all the time. had it for the first time in a while this past week and I really do need to tell people to try it if you like tart & classic greek yogurt. I got mine topped with honey, olive oil, and sea salt! if you are not gluten-free, try it with the baklava on top. will be my hyperfixation for the rest of summer <3
I cannot believe it is already July - how is this year already half way over!!! Thank you all so much for reading and please let me know if you have visited any of the spots in the article! Would love to hear what you think, xoxo.
Love Always,
Su
