HOW TO: plan a perfect girls' day

I started this substack back in november — which, I am just now realizing, was nine months ago (how?). one of the things I wanted to achieve with this was to convince people to explore outside of their own neighborhood. our 7x7 city may seem small, but we have so many neighborhoods, each of them with their own specific vibe and an endless amount of things to explore

if you’re anything like me (hyper type-a, the virgo in me) you want to make sure that you are going to the best places when you go somewhere. the trick is to pick a neighborhood and spend your whole day there — no cross-town commuting required

here are the itineraries, organized by neighborhood (hayes valley, mission, richmond, russian hill, and pacific heights) and by activity (coffee, shopping, where to sit & yap, dinner, drinks, and most importantly: dessert)
