The health and wellness space has gotten good at teaching people about food quality. People like Paul Saladino and others in the ancestral health world have helped millions move toward grass-fed meat, organ meats, quality dairy, and away from seed oils and processed food. But there is a blind spot: the cooking method. Scroll through the meal posts from even the most health-conscious creators and you will see seared steaks, grilled burgers, roasted vegetables, pan-fried eggs in butter. The ingredients are great. The cooking method is still dry heat, every single time.

That dry heat pulls the moisture out of your food, creates AGEs that damage your body, and makes your meals harder to digest. By the time a grilled steak hits your plate, you are eating dehydrated food and then trying to fix it by drinking water on the side. If you are dealing with gut issues, IBS, constipation, or bloating, the way you cook may be making it worse.
