I am incredibly frustrated with the view of the human body being just a machine. Looking at it in parts. Seeing it in incredibly simple terms, like the way a mechanic would look at a car, despite the human body being the original quantum computer. For more than three hundred years, those in the field of medicine, have viewed it this way, and so has most areas of society.

We view the heart as a basic water pump, the brain as a central computer, the liver as an oil filter, and our blood vessels as simple rubber hoses. It’s a neat and tidy way of thinking and it easily fits into medical textbooks and makes it very easy to prescribe a quick fix when something seems to break down.

It’s also completely wrong, or at the very least, wildly incomplete.

When you take a step back and look at how fluids and electricity actually move through us, the whole “body as a car engine” metaphor, completely falls apart.

Take your blood vessels for example. If you untangled every blood vessel, artery, and tiny capillary in your body and laid them end to end, they would stretch roughly 100,000 kilometres, which is enough to wrap around the earth two and a half times.

Now think about how a car’s cooling system works. You have a mechanical water pump pushing coolant through a few metres of thick rubber hose and a radiator. If those hoses get tiny, microscopic clogs, the pump has to work insanely hard. If you tried to use that same small mechanical pump to force a thick liquid through 100,000kms of microscopic pipes, with some so narrow that blood cells have to line up in single file just to squeeze through, what would happen?

For starters, the pressure needed at the start of the line would be so massive that it would blow the main pipes off the engine instantly. A heart weighing less than 350 grams simply cannot act a brute-force hydraulic piston, pushing fluid through that much resistance for eighty years straight. It would lead to massive inefficiencies in maintaining pressure at the extreme points of the body, like your toes and fingertips.

So then, how does blood actually get to where it needs to go?

The secret isn’t pure mechanical force. It’s electricity, magnetics, and chemistry, all working together.

This about an electric train or a monorail. The train doesn’t move because someone is standing behind it physically pushing it down the track. It moves because an electromagnetic current along the track, pulls and glides the train forward. Your blood works in a very similar way.

Blood is not just salt water carrying red blobs. It’s packed with iron, and iron (as we know from basic high school science) reacts strongly to electrical and magnetic fields. Your blood vessels are lined with a special water-loving layer surrounded by connective tissue that generates tiny electrical charges every time you move. So when your blood flows, the iron in your blood interacts with the electrical charges along the vessel walls. This means that the blood in’t just getting shoved from behind by a mechanical heart beat. It is flowing smoothly along an active electromagnetic current created by your body.

In this setup, the heart isn’t a brute-force piston in a car. It acts more like a spiralling vortex and a master clock. It spins the blood, gives it a rhythm, and sets the electrical timing for the whole system. When you look at your body this way, several things suddenly make sense:

  • Iron as a conductor: The iron in your blood isn’t just sitting there waiting to carry oxygen. It acts like a network of tiny electrical receivers reacting to the currents moving through your nervous system.

  • Reasoning behind thick blood: Think of how static electricity makes clothes stick together in a dryer. When your body’s overall electrical voltage drops, your blood cells lose their natural negative charge that usually keeps them bouncing off one another. They start sticking together and clumping up. You therefore don’t just have thick blood. It’s a reaction because your system has lost its electrical charge.

  • Blood types and chemistry: Different blood types mean slightly different mixes of chemicals, minerals, and elemental ratios. Just like different types of copper or fibre-optic cables conducting signals differently, varying blood chemistry changes how your body reacts to nutrients, how it handles stress, and how efficiently it conducts bio-electric currents.

We aren’t a mechanical engine with rubber hoses. We are an electro-conductive, magnetic ocean on the move.

Once you stop seeing your body as a closed-off metal box like a car, or comprised of isolated mechanical components that just happen to work together to be the human body, you start to realise that we are built to interact with everything around us.

Imagine an old school radio. To listen to your favourite radio station, you’d turn the knob to match the exact frequency being broadcast through the air. The music isn’t stored inside the radio box itself. The radio is simply the antenna catching a signal that is already floating around the room. (Same as wi-fi and bluetooth.)

Your body (the physical container) works the exact same way.

Every single cell in your body is wrapped in a microscopic membrane studded with thousands of tiny sensors. These sensors aren’t just sitting around waiting for chemical hormones to float by like tiny keys fitting into locks. They act like nano-antennas, reacting to light, atmospheric pressure, temperature, and subtle electromagnetic frequency changes in your environment, long before a chemical signal ever travels through your system. And if you ever want (or need) proof that our bodies are hardwired to fit into the world around us, you only have to look at how nature designs things.

Look at a close-up photo of the human iris. It looks almost identical to a photograph of a dying star or a planetary nebule, taken by a space telescope. Look at the network of neurons firing in your brain, and compare it to a map of galactic networks in deep space, or a river delta seen from an aeroplane. Look at the swirl of your inner ear or the shape of a kidney, and you’ll see the exact same spiral patterns found in seashells and hurricanes.

Nature isn’t being poetic. It is being efficient. It reuses the exact same shapes over and over, across the universe, because those specific geometric patterns are the absolute best way to move energy, fluids, and information without wasting power. Your body looks like nature because it was built by nature to receive its signals.

When we believe the lie that our body is just a fragile machine that randomly breaks down like an old used car, we hand all our power over to mechanics. We wait for someone outside us to tune us up, replace a part, or pour in a chemical additive to force the engine to keep sputtering along.

When you remember that your body is actually a high sensitivity biological antenna, everything changes!

  • Listen to the static: Symptoms are rarely random engine failures. Most of the time, they’re static on the line. They’re warnings that your voltage is low or that your environment is throwing out too much noise for your system to handle.

  • Focus on conductivity: Staying healthy isn’t just about counting calories because that would be the equivalent of simply putting petrol in the tank. Staying healthy is about keeping your electrical lines clear. How clean is the water you drink? Are your mineral levels balanced? Are your nervous system pathways open and clear?

  • Watch what surrounds you: You wouldn’t expect a mobile phone to get a clear 5G signal if you wrapped it in heavy lead foil, and so you can’t isolate your body from its surroundings. The food you eat, the sunlight hitting your skin, the artificial fields in your home, and the emotional stress you hold onto, directly affect whether your internal antenna receives a clear signal or pure interference.

The answers to your energy, your clarity, and your physical performance, aren’t hiding in some complex, synthetic manual you haven’t read yet. The hardware already knows what to do. It has known for thousands of years. It’s simply waiting for you to stop treating it like a rusty car, clear out the static, and let the signal flow.

Your body already holds the information. We’ve just forgotten how to access the signal. Stop relying on broken models and recalibrate your system at Your True North.
