Say hello to my latest toy camera— The Sprocket Rocket! I bought this last year and have shot a few rolls on it since then. Its such a groovy camera with some neat characteristics:
The image bleeding past the visible film sprocket holes: This is perhaps my favorite feature. It gives images an undeniable film look.
The photo ratio: each frame is double the width of a standard 35mm image (72mm vs 36mm). These loooong skinny images are unique to this camera.
The panoramic view: It’s got a gnarly 106° field of view, which I’ve loved for capturing landscapes and people. I love the context it adds around a group photo. The image below is me + my boys and I love all the details of the salt flats around us.
