Therapy and spirituality, which are commercially popular, heavily marketed, and accessible around the world, are probably the immediate “solutions” that spring to mind. Let’s say this is what she delved into. What would their teachers they tell her to do? She would be told that she must reinvent and rebuild herself. No, you’re not unworthy, they’d say. You’re worthy! Not only that, but you’re also abundant, peaceful, grateful, and loved! Tape it to your mirror, make a vision board, set up notifications—remind yourself until you start to believe it! Hold this thought for seventeen seconds and the universe will start to shower you with blessings!
It doesn’t matter whether this person believed any of her own programming. All she’d need to do was to lather on her favorite adjectives in an effort to redesign her mind, thought by thought. While we’re at it, let’s throw in Christ consciousness into the mix too because that’s coveted and so deliciously divine! God would never reject anyone with Christ consciousness. It’s a must–have quality to enter heaven or enlightenment, don’t you know.
The belief is that someday, this brainwashing will take hold and cement into a person’s way of being. This is how the formula goes:
