Hi folks,
Here’s the next installment of me testing out a super lightweight travel sketching kit. This is, of course, also an excellent option for an art kit that you can carry with you all the time. I’ve been carrying it around for a month or so and it’s never once been too much to handle. I’ve made all kinds of informal little drawings I wouldn’t have made otherwise.
Let’s get right into it: Here’s a video of me trying this technique in the landscape. I picked a water scene because I wanted to think about how I’d draw when we were really on the go—maybe even in motion on a ferry boat, for instance—and I truly only had about ten minutes to get something down.
