Last week, I wrote about this cool new sketchbook/journal I found, and I said that I really enjoyed using my Pentel Pocket Brush Pen in it to illustrate my community garden. I thought this would be a good time to do a deep dive into that pen, which now comes in FOUR COLORS!
I like this pen all by itself, and in combination with watercolor or Tombow markers. It just has such a lovely, artsy, thick-and-thin flow. The most ordinary drawing looks way cooler when you use this pen. Also, it’s a great starter pen for getting into ink, because the ink comes in cartridges, it never dries out or leaks, it’s incredibly easy to travel with, and it’s affordable.
