Week of June 21 - June 27

I began this week determined to remember to photograph every day’s outfit. How did I do?

Sunday

I will admit that despite how much I absolutely loved Cats: The Jellicle Ball, I did not like any of their merch! So when this special edition jersey released for Pride, I snagged it up immediately. And proceeds to go charity! It’s a true win-win.

Monday

This dress always makes me look much taller than I am. OPTICAL ILLUSIONS! This is a SHEIN dress that I found on Poshmark after seeing it in real life and not wanting to shop on SHEIN. We all have our own boundaries; sometimes fast fashion is hard to define. That said, for me, SHEIN and Temu are bridges too far. ANYWAY! I do love this dress.

Tuesday

A Nooworks fave combo. Why am I looking off in the distance? I may never know.

Wednesday

My new Tuesday of California skirt arrived!! It’s great in every way. That said because of the material it is not super DRESSY (overall this is fine) which means I will still wear the pleated skirt from Torrid that’s not as great sometimes. IT’S FINE! Having two black skirts is not the end of the world.

Anyway, I paired it with a Madewell striped tee because I never mind looking like the Hamburglar sans some important and iconic accessories.

Thursday

IMPORTANT! My salon appointment finally arrived and my hair is no longer browned out and sad.

My photo setup is not as good at home but that’s when I remembered to take this. This is an outfit from a bunch of my standard pieces: Androgynous Fox button-up, Lucy & Yak leopard jeans, my fave AF1s, and a bolo from Tiny Deer Studio.

Friday

I haven’t worn this NOR BLACK NOR WHITE dress in awhile, and I forgot how much I love it!

Saturday

I went to pilates first thing in the morning and then spend much of the rest day working on a project at the sewing studio, so I stayed (mostly) makeup free and in sweats all day. I had plans to go out but my friend and I decided unanimously that neither of us wanted to make the effort, so I stayed in sweats until I switched them out for pajamas. You know what? NO COMPLAINTS.

Here’s my latest manicure. I go to Lumi Nail Salon on Lake!

Honestly staying in sweats all day is not exactly underrated — people talk about how good it is — but I never do it and it was great.
