Week of July 5 - July 11
Since I feel like my on-automatic move, especially in the summer, is to grab a dress and get on with things, I tried wearing separates this week to put a little more thought into my look each day. Did this affect anything? I’m not sure, but sometimes I enjoy a little challenge.
I also want to say I AM GROWING OUT MY HAIR MAYBE. I only say this because right now I hate the length; I wish it was sharper or longer and I am trying to SUFFER THROUGH to see where it lands. If I hate it, I can always cut it again, but it hasn’t been longer than this in a long time so let’s just see. My stylist said I’d be running back into the salon screaming CUT IT any minute now, and they may be right.
Sunday
All I did was get brunch and be lazy, so that’s as much work as I put into my outfit. Everybody dot World shirt, 501s, new HOKAs that are not FASHION but I DON’T HATE. Now that that’s cleared up.
Monday
Shirt made by me (fabric from Mood, thank u Mood), Tuesday of California skirt, Run Star Hike Converse. I don’t wear these glasses (by Dita of course) too often but man I love them and should wear them more often.
Tuesday
Cats t-shirt grabbed last time I saw the touring production. Now and forever! My fave Tuesday of California skirt (maybe my favorite skirt, period), and Converse One Stars that I forgot I had, forgot how much I loved, forgot how much they rub against the backs of my ankles arrrgghhhh
Wednesday
Another Everybody dot World shirt with another Tuesday of California skirt, and AF1s.
Thursday
Nooworks button-up, 501s, AF1s. This was a gym morning and I wanted my outfit to be as easy as possible.
Friday
Button-up from Androgynous Fox, bolo by Tiny Deer Studio, skirt by LANE BRYANT OK I KNOW WEIRD WHO COULD SAY IT WAS AN INTERNET AD AND ON SALE VERY CHEAP and the Converse One Stars again despite their chafing potential. They are SO comfortable to wear and basically a perfect summer sneaker otherwise.
Saturday
I didn’t manage to get a full-length shot but I did go to a Dodgers game and I did my best to blend in with the sports people. To be clear I love the Dodgers (though woof they lost 2-9) but the only jersey I have in my wardrobe says MEOW on it and JELLICLE 10s ACROSS THE BOARD on the back so I didn’t think that was appropriate.
It’s getting hot and I don’t like it! Period!!!!!
