Week of July 19 - July 25

I am doing my best to just EXIST and not BE ANNOYED because summer weather is plenty of living in Southern California, and I don’t like walking around being cranky. However, some of that is just my general vibe, even though people say I am a nice Midwesterner. I am not sure that’s true. I think I’m just a teacher’s pet who wants you to give me an A for existing. Anyway. Here’s some stuff I wore.

Sunday

I forgot to take a photo and I have no idea what I wore. I assume it was boring then!

Monday

The Nooworks Frida, I’ve decided, is the best dress I have for summer. You’ll be seeing plenty of them.

Tuesday

Since I spilled Enchirito sauce on my favorite Madewell striped top, I panicked and bought some other Madewell striped tops on Poshmark. (I am still waiting to see if the original can be saved.) This shirt is one of them. From a distance it doesn’t look too exciting but I really love these colors closeup:

Wednesday

My eyes are crazy in this photo but I am happy to be in a linen Nooworks dress over a lightweight button-up, and platform Converse hightops. This was one of the hottest days of the week, and I had a business lunch and wanted to look like I hadn’t completely given up. (Only in my heart.)

Thursday

Here’s the other striped shirt I Poshmark’d, with my Tuesday of California skirt and Converse One-Stars. THE HAMBURGLAR WISHES! (I jest, he is a style icon and I will never measure up.)

Friday

I forgot to take a photo today too. WHOOPS! I wore this outfit, though. Pretend my hair is my current color and it’s almost like I did take a photo today.

Saturday

Yes, my third Nooworks Friday of the week!!! I continue to stand strangely in my own home.

What are y’all doing to stay cool? I bought a freezable tube that goes around my neck, if you’re curious how it is going here! (Just google ice neck thing or whatever. This was $9.99 from the bad site.)
