Week of August 2

I forgot to take a photo almost every day?? I don’t know what happened. You know I want to blame the heat, but I won’t.

I spent most of the day working on a project at the sewing studio, so I did not try very hard. Jeans, a Madewell tee, HOKAs. I am still growing my hair out and in this photo I really hate it TO BE CLEAR.

I almost don’t want to take photos at home because look at how much better I always look in office photos??? Anyway, this is a Dahlia dress from Nooworks I haven’t worn in ages. I am like many self-conscious about my upper arms. Literally look at how many shades paler they are than the rest of my body!!!! Still, I am trying to get over this. I got so many compliments on this dress!

I forgot to take a photo! I’m sorry!!! Here’s a dirty matcha latte I drank. It’s unrelated but now you can look at something and just imagine I wore a good outfit (which I have forgotten by now):

Another Nooworks Dahlia I never wear, another set of compliments. OBVIOUSLY I WILL BE WEARING THIS MORE! Still, wowwwww my shoulders are white. What if I am part-ghost? Just the shoulders part???

An extremely boring day but I am glad I added my leopard Sambas to the Madewell tee and Levi’s 501s at the last minute because I do think they save the whole look. I also think my hair is starting to grow out enough it’s another thing now that I maybe don’t hate? I don’t even know. I wish I could fast-forward to knowing if I’ll like any future length so if the answer is NO I could just chop it off right now.

And that is because I saw this and read it too quickly and somehow thought they were referring to the glasses I was wearing:

To be clear: my glasses are by Dita not Meta and they are NOT AI but for more than a split-second I had to wonder why the specific glasses I was wearing were being referred to as PERVERT GLASSES and I worried I had to rethink my entire image!!!!!!

I will try to be better about taking photos next week but, whatever, I am proud of myself for not falling apart when I forget AND figuring out substitute content in this newsletter.
