I’m buzzing this week because my Meaningful Nonsense print collection is available for purchase!

This collection originated around a year ago when I began coding my handwriting and generating sentences. I’ve explored lots of avenues with these techniques and this collection of prints has finally emerged.

I’ve done something a bit unusual with this collection!

Each individual print will be one of a kind, generated to order. The layout and palette will match the style you choose (there are 5 options), while the text content will be completely unique.

If you purchase one, no one else’s print will contain the same messages as yours.

The sentences, like much of my work, exist at the intersection of meaning and nonsense. They’re generated by an algorithm so, of course, they’re nonsense, but meaning sneaks in. You can dismiss the content as gibberish, or you can interpret it with sincerity.

Meaning emerges not just despite the randomness, but through it.

Here’s a closer look at some sentences, and an example of the uniqueness of each print.

The collection is produced at ThePrintSpace, where they use Epson Sure Color P9000 printers to create archival quality inkjet (Giclée) prints. They have locations in the UK, EU and USA.

After several rounds of test prints, I chose Hahnemühle Photorag paper which is 308gsm and has a smooth matte texture.

The collection uses several of my sentence structure sets:

• Statements e.g. Early catalysts are solitary.

• Questions e.g. What is a crystalline anomaly?

• Personal statements e.g. I reconfigure normal dimensions. You are mapping anecdotal deities.

• Things that could exist e.g. Nucleic faith of rituals
