My 2nd Manhattan Circumnavigation
This second time around I knew what to expect and was in better running shape. This time I tackled it counter-clockwise and had the GPX map loaded into my Coros watch.

This was the culminating event for my first time working with a coach.

Just a week after the Syracuse Half Marathon, this home favorite was more challenging than I anticipated.

For Christmas, Scott and I gifted time with a running coach. It made an incredible difference in this race!

My running club hosts this series in January to help keep us motivated and connected in the depths of winter! The course stays the same and the weather varies.

This is the 2nd time I've run this race. A month into doing the Tuesday night Mithacal Milers workouts through the Finger Lakes Runners club, I felt pretty ready for the challenge.

Each year we share our annual highlights in a different way. I hope these dozen photos (one from each month of the year) find you and your family happy and ready to user in 2026.

#5 of 5 Half Marathons for 2025. Even on exceptionally warm and muggy June day, this was still a great way to cap off our Year of the Half Maraton.

I didn’t officially train for this race. I used to be very focused in my training efforts, but have settled into just being an active person with a focus on hitting a lot of different activities.

Today, we got up early and we got ready quietly before hopping in the car for the drive to the OnCenter. We routinely get up at 5 am now, and it wasn’t that much different to get up a little before 4.

Scott and I initially signed up for the half, but with my mileage down after a Philly Marathon hamstring injury, I switched to the 10K.
