This was the governor womance, tag-team I was hoping to see! The one downside, if I saw correctly is Big Gretch is term-limited as of this year so not sure if she and Amy will serve concurrently as their states’ governors. Still awesome seeing them together though!
Strong and courageous women in or running for office in the Midwest is good news in these MAGA (GAGa) times. They appear to listen to constituents. They are likely to be far away from the scandals of Washington. I hope voters in these two states will recognize real leadership and support women IN leadership when there are so many disappointments who have achieved office and will not speak truth to power.
Spines are essential equipment. Both have one.
I hope to see Michigans current governor on a bigger stage when her term is up.
