The 5 Things You Loved Most in July

Sweet July! It’s the one month of the year where everyone is operating at peak summer. We’re not talking back to school or pre-Fall, we’re talking beach days and ice cream and that’s how it should be.

I decided to keep it tight this month because there were a few items that rose well to the top on my best sellers list. More edited than usual, but full of truly great finds.

1. The perfect anytime jean: Premium denim, subtle barrel, beautiful washes. I somehow (stupidly) got away from these for a bit but I’m so happy I started wearing them again. They work well dressed up or down. With a tee shirt around the house or a cute top for a dinner date. The white is also so good! They run big (I size down to a 24).

2. The throw on and go dress you keep selling out: I can’t believe this dress is still on sale for $125! For how much I wear it, I almost don’t even think this is fair. I love the cut, the print, and the smocked top. I’ll wear this all summer and Fall (with a light sweater) on repeat.

3. All the Barbour jackets: Barbour was the our best selling brand during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and for good reason! There were three great jackets on sale that I loved. This one is long gone, but this one (in blue and in green) still has some inventory on sale. I’m glad I went into store because it was much better in person than the image online. This one is available at full price at Barbour.com. These are all great choices for a Fall jacket!

4. The Amazon skirt that became my most worn active in a new colorway: I’ve wrote about this one a lot. This skirt is such a great find and better than more premium priced active out there. After wearing the navy all Spring, I went for the red this month and love it even more.

5. Two wonderful navy sweaters vying for the top spot: Let me be clear, I don’t think you need two navy cotton sweaters. After recommending the Tuckernuck William sweater all spring, I felt like I needed to try the soldout.nyc favorite crew sweater too. Here’s what I’ll say. You truly can’t go wrong. I think everyone would benefit from having one of these in their closet. The only real difference is that the soldout.nyc version is just a little chunkier and a tad warmer. If you live in New England or Canada, this would be my pick but for everywhere else, I’d stick with the William.
