Yesterday, I published a new essay at Integrity Magazine critically reviewing Bishop Fulton Sheen’s views on Church-State relations.

As is well known, Sheen was a prelate beloved for his charismatic delivery, breadth of knowledge and embodiment of American exceptionalism. However, these qualities risk obscuring the grave and documented problems with his ecclesiastical career.

In fact, in an essay published last month, I laid out the case for objectively and reasonably questioning his orthodoxy after the promulgation of Vatican II:

This time, I am examining his views before the Council, specifically when it comes to Church-State relations.

Please take a look at the new essay and check out the counter-revolutionary work we are doing at Integrity Magazine!

Rest-assured, the essay on “The Woman Question According to St. Thomas” will be coming out later today. The author whose writing we are featuring is the Dominican Fr. Gallus Maria Manser, a neo-scholastic theologian active in the first half of the 20th century.
