July in Montreal is beautiful, full of light. This time last year I moved to London, where I stayed for half of the year doing an artistic residency, and this spring I was on tour in Europe. Landing here, in summer, feels soft; I’ve found a new space to create music in, with lots of natural light, where from time to time the movements of birds can be observed.
I’m also very happy and honoured to share that I’ll be supporting José González in Montreal on September 11. If you’d like to come, tickets and details can be found here.
