I was recently interviewed by Natalie Walton for her IMPRINT podcast, which was a complete joy. During the interview she asked me to break down how much of my income was design vs books vs collaborations, etc. I honestly had no clue! She inspired me to add it all up and make a pie chart. (I’ll have to write my 8th grade geometry teacher and tell her she was right.) 2024 was a weird year for me, spending most of the summer on an IV and in bed, so I added up 2023 as well to show the comparison. Surprisingly they were pretty similar!
Below I break down how I make supplemental & passive income and go over why each income stream has been helpful for me.
