I posted a photo of my messy house on stories this week. We’ve really struggled keeping it clean during this fourth and final postpartum phase. I lost count of how many mothers wrote and said, “Thank you for sharing real life. This made me feel better.” Postpartum is a an oddly lonely time, so if posting my messy house helps another postpartum mom feel not so lonely, well then it’s worth it. I always think that no one wants to see the messy bits, but I guess I was wrong!? If this is your thing, today is your day.
