There are souls who live on this planet who came to help usher in a new way of life here. You may be one of them, and not even know it.
You may be one who moves us beyond fixations on materialism and gain, into a more regenerative and reverent co-existence.
Right now, we are working with very different energies than those most often rewarded by manufactured culture.
Hustle and grind do not reap the rewards they once did – at least not without your psyche and body paying a price.
What seems to not be working out for you is pushing you into a more tender part of yourself, asking you to sit with some of your core values and personal gifts that got minimized as you placed importance on being relevant in the dominant (now dying) culture.
Intimacy (not necessarily romantic), but intimacy with life is becoming magnified – the mundane moments close to home that are full of immense appreciation, nurturing your loved ones through unexpected turning points, and noticing the love that is available for you that has nothing to do with your performance.
All of this is becoming illuminated. Softening you into the intangible and irreplaceable, even as you face massive uncertainty about your future.
I think that kind of intimacy is really what we were after all along…When we were pouring all those hours into hustle and grind, trying to create something amazing or complete a big project … inside of all that effort was this unspoken cry to be cherished as special. We wanted to know how it felt to feel irreplaceable in the eyes of others.
Hustle and grind cannot give us that intimacy. In fact, those energies separate us from our feeling body so much that we can’t even feel how cherished we are by people who do not benefit from our performance, and whose affections do not fluctuate whether we’re winning or losing.
Intimacy. Worthiness. When our life begins to center around these energies, our motivations change, and so does our potential to birth a more balanced planet.
We will exhale an identity that has become too heavy to carry forward.
There will be growing pains, maybe a bout of sickness or some fatigue as you orient to a new way of viewing yourself and your place in the world – but these symptoms won’t last … if you keep circling back to what matters most, and anchoring yourself into that precious alignment.
1. What parts of my life were being missed or minimized before this challenge?
2. What of my core values is this challenge magnifying for me now?
3. If this challenge were placed here to redirect my life path, what might that redirection look like? What parts of myself am I being nudged to energize?
