You were given vision beyond the surface for a reason.
You’re not here to twist yourself into the confines of the system. You came to crack it open, like dandelion through pavement.
It will take your mind and body a while to acclimate to the truth that you have outgrown the status quo.
Growing pains will feel like aches, fatigue, the need to cocoon, to isolate - right before you enter an expanse that feels like nothing of your past.
Be careful not to pathologize the symptoms of shedding your skin.
The status quo depends on you seeing yourself as broken, traumatized, and disordered. But those identities don’t come close to describing the whole of you.
You are not a health condition or a psych diagnosis, though you may keep those parts of your story if they give you clarity and direction.
It doesn’t serve you to reduce your sense-of-self to labels. Use them as a map, not as a personal brand.
The gap between the life you lived and the one you’re feeling swell from within you can be a restless chapter. Because it seems that you have nothing familiar to anchor back into. But that’s not true.
You have yourself, with a very clear feeling in your body of which agreements to keep, and which ones to retire.
The calling of the times is to build faith that your authenticity will open doors. Sustain you. Feed you. Show you your new place in the Collective, and how you’re designed to serve at this moment in history.
“How you’re designed to serve.” It means that you’re built for this new chapter.
Your life up until now has been the training ground for your next expression, your most embodied gift, offered to your community. This transformation will not break you, if you stay true to yourself.
If faith is hard to muster, stay open to being surprised.
A new culture is birthing itself, and it can supply you with its creative force and sustenance, if you allow it.
You didn’t come here to fight against the pathology of a brutal and cruel world.
You came to de-pathologize your way of thinking about your personal power, and your impact on human history.
The status quo depends on you feeling inadequate, isolated, and sick as its strategy for keeping the collective bound to its cage.
May your life be the liberation.
